About me:
My father started it, he walked into his first martial arts academy when he was a teenager and ever since has been involved in martial arts. Both of my parents were in the United States Military, so I moved all over the world as a kid; I was actually born in Italy (U.S. Naval Hospital). But wherever we lived, we always had a martial arts academy. I grew up on the mat, training martial arts since I can remember. I am fortunate enough to have trained with the very best in the martial arts that I choose and hold Black Belts in Kenpo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Full Instructorship in Kickboxing, Filipino Kali, and Jeet Kune Do.
Most of my training now comes from my father. Every time I step on the mat with him, I am amazed at the amount of knowledge that he still has to hand down. With enough traveling to last a few generations, my family chose to stay in Knoxville, TN in 1998. Now, my family runs the number one martial arts academy in the Knoxville area, Progressive Martial Arts Academy.
